ISLAMABAD: The Italian Embassy in Islamabad has warned Pakistani students against submitting fake or suspicious documents with their study visa applications.
In a message posted on X, the embassy said it had observed an unusual increase in cases involving the submission of fraudulent or questionable documents in applications for Italian study visas.
The embassy urged students to refrain from submitting forged or suspicious documents, warning that doing so could result in the immediate rejection of a visa application and may also negatively affect future visa applications.
Applicants for Italian student visas are required to submit educational credentials and other supporting documents, which are verified as part of the visa process before a visa is issued.
Earlier, the Italian Embassy had also issued guidance through its official website on how to book visa appointments, with the aim of making the visa application process more transparent and discouraging fraudulent agents.
