ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has prepared a special report on various visa categories, including business, tourist and grant visas, as well as details of visa agreements terminated with different countries.

According to the report, 24 countries are included in the tourist visa category, while 15 countries fall under the grant visa category. Pakistan has also terminated visa agreements with 36 countries, the report states.

The countries whose visa agreements have been terminated include nine countries with diplomatic passport arrangements, 19 countries with official passport arrangements and eight countries under other national categories, according to the report.

The report also contains the names of 16 countries that offer dual citizenship, while citizens of 69 countries are included in Pakistan’s business visa category.

The business visa list includes Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Malta, Qatar, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uzbekistan, among others.

According to the Interior Ministry, 24 countries have been placed in the tourist visa category. Responsibility for individuals travelling from these countries will rest with the designated tour operator.

The report further lists Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen under the grant visa category.

The Interior Ministry said the report brings together details concerning different visa categories and the countries covered under each category.
