After the humiliating defeat in the Test series against Bangladesh, the Pakistan cricket team has fallen into a new crisis. Salman Ali Agha is seen as the strongest candidate to replace Shan Masood as the new captain of the Test team.

According to a private TV report, internal differences in the team have come to the fore after the failure in the Test series in Bangladesh. Head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed had a tough talk with the players in the presence of the team manager and advised them to play for the team instead of individual performance.

He urged the players to play their part for individual records as well as overall success. Sarfaraz Ahmed expressed deep disappointment over the lack of responsibility shown by senior players and said that seniors should have come forward in difficult times. He has ordered the players to focus on rebuilding the team by learning from past mistakes.

After the loss to Bangladesh, the atmosphere in the dressing room became extremely tense, where the players started blaming each other for the poor results. The batsmen targeted the bowlers’ performance, while the bowlers raised questions about the batting and fielding line.
