ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the prime minister on political and public affairs Rana Sanaullah has warned that the government planned action will proceed at all costs, warning that no obstruction would be allowed to hinder the government’s response.
Speaking during a private television programme, Rana Sanaullah said it had become evident that the Fitna al-Khawarij and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and sympathising with its activities.
He said that if Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi became an obstacle, that obstacle would be removed.
Responding to a question about the planned march in Lakki Marwat, Sanaullah said people in the area were so fearful of possible suicide attacks that even 10 people were reluctant to gather there.
Under such circumstances, if these people are marching in Lakki Marwat, it clearly means that terrorist organizations are supporting them, he said.
