ISLAMABAD: The government has increased the price of petrol while reducing the price of diesel, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been increased by 77 paisas per litre, bringing the new price to Rs342.79 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs1.03 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs370.41 per litre.
According to the notification, the revised prices of petroleum products have been implemented for one day only.
The latest adjustment comes as the government reviews petroleum product prices based on prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors.
