ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs1.77 per litre, following the latest revision in petroleum product prices.
According to an official notification, the new price of kerosene has been set at Rs306.44 per litre, with the increase taking effect immediately.
The latest adjustment means consumers will now pay Rs1.77 more per litre than the previous rate.
The revision comes amid continued fluctuations in petroleum prices, adding to the financial burden on consumers. The increase is expected to have a greater impact in areas where kerosene remains a primary fuel for household use.
The government said petroleum product prices are revised in line with international crude oil prices and other relevant market factors. Following the latest adjustment, kerosene will now be available at Rs306.44 per litre across the country.
