ISLAMABAD: The Petroleum Division on Monday issued a notification revising the prices of petroleum products, increasing the price of high-speed diesel while slightly reducing the rate of petrol.
According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 5.71 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs 360.06 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of petrol has been reduced by 35 paisas per litre. Following the adjustment, petrol will now be available at Rs 315.80 per litre.
The Petroleum Division said the revised prices were determined on the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The new fuel prices have come into effect following the issuance of the official notification and will remain applicable until the next review by the government.
