ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs1,700 per tola on Tuesday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).

The association said the price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs428,436 per tola, reflecting the latest increase in the local bullion market.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314.

In the international market, gold prices also moved higher, gaining $17 to trade at $4,060 per ounce, contributing to the upward trend in domestic prices.

Gold prices in Pakistan typically fluctuate in line with movements in the global bullion market and changes in the exchange rate.
