The price of gold in global market and Pakistan has increased for the second consecutive day, while the rate of silver has remained the same.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan surged by Rs800, reaching Rs493,962 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs686, taking it to Rs423,492. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also hiked by Rs629 to be sold for Rs388,215. In the international market also, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $8 to reach $4,716 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver price remained stable as the previous session, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola staying at Rs8,049 in Pakistan. Similarly, the price of 10g of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs6,900.
