ISLAMABAD: The federal government has once again increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with the new rates taking effect from September 11.
According to a notification issued by the government, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.05 per litre, taking the new price to Rs370.80 per litre.
The price of diesel has also been raised by Rs5.37 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs398.04 per litre.
The notification stated that the revised prices would remain applicable for September 11, 2026.
The latest increase is expected to add further pressure on motorists and consumers, as changes in fuel prices can affect transportation and the cost of goods and services across the country.
