Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir has become a British citizen, he has been issued a passport by the British government.

According to the details, Mohammad Amir had applied for a passport a few years ago, after completing all the legal requirements and the stipulated time, he has now received the passport.

Mohammad Amir’s wife Narjis Khan, who represented Pakistan in 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 62 T20 matches, is a British citizen. Mohammad Amir has now become eligible to play in the IPL as a British citizen.

It may be recalled that Mohammad Amir had announced his second retirement from international cricket last year.
