ISLAMABAD: Former Ambassador Ayaz Wazir’s daughter Rayan Wazir died in a traffic accident near Parade Ground Metro Station in Islamabad on Saturday, police said.
According to reports, Rayan Wazir’s Suzuki Swift lost control due to excessive speed and crashed onto the footpath, resulting in her death at the scene.
The police stated that the vehicle involved in the accident, with the registration number CB-214, is allegedly registered to Ayaz Khan.
Emergency personnel arrived promptly at the scene and transferred the body to PIMS Hospital. The authorities and police have initiated a formal investigation to uncover the underlying causes of the accident.
