Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held an important meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese armed forces at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and discussed matters related to cooperation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Rudolf Heikal discussed defence cooperation, mutual military relations, and the security situation in the region in detail. Both military leaders expressed their determination to further promote professional ties and training cooperation.

On this occasion, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its long-standing and cordial relations with Lebanon and is committed to further expanding defense cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces.

According to the ISPR, Lebanese Army Chief General Rudolf Heikal appreciated the professionalism and operational capabilities of the Pakistani Armed Forces and acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Army in regional peace and stability and international peace.

According to the ISPR, this visit reflects the shared commitment of the two armed forces to promote cooperation.
