Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the resolve that establishing lasting peace in Gaza is our first mission and prayed that the international community may succeeds in achieving this goal.
The Prime Minister clarified that the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state is indispensable for lasting peace in the Middle East, without which stability in the region is not possible.
He termed the establishment of the Gaza Peace Board a golden chapter in the history of the Middle East. The Prime Minister also highly appreciated the role of US President Donald Trump in resolving global conflicts.
He said that due to President Trump’s timely intervention, the threat of a war between Pakistan and India was averted, which not only saved thousands of precious lives but also saved South Asia from a major catastrophe.
The Prime Minister said that President Trump’s peace-loving attitude and efforts to resolve conflicts are commendable at the global level. The first meeting of the Peace Board is underway in Washington under the chairmanship of US President Donald Trump, in which Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif is also participating.
The meeting discussed important issues such as the reconstruction of Gaza, the establishment of a global stabilization force, and peace and stability in the region. The US President also praised the Pakistan-India tension and the Pakistani forces in his address.

In his speech, President Trump praised Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is a very high-ranking commander and a great fighter. It should be noted that this statement was especially covered by the American media.
The US President also shed light on the Pak-India conflict and said that the war between Pakistan and India was intensifying. We played our role and stopped this war. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was told that if the war was not stopped, heavy tariffs would be imposed.
According to international media, President Trump will announce the amount collected for the reconstruction of Gaza at the meeting and the establishment of the Global Stabilization Force is also expected to be announced. The meeting discussed in detail measures for peace, humanitarian aid and stability in the region.
The permanent members of the Security Council, including China, Russia, and Britain, did not attend the meeting. According to American media, the meeting was held with limited participants so that quick decisions could be taken. Pakistan’s participation could prove helpful in peace and humanitarian aid projects in the region.
