LAHORE: Beneficiaries of the Punjab government’s welfare programme ‘Maryam Ko Batain’ can receive financial assistance of up to Rs10,000 and other support services without leaving their homes.

The programme, introduced under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s welfare initiatives, aims to provide assistance to people from different sections of society. Support available under the scheme includes financial aid, medical assistance, wheelchairs, crutches, electric bikes and hearing aids.

According to an official statement, more than 80,000 people have so far received financial assistance through the programme, with eligible beneficiaries being provided services and support at their doorstep.

Those who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply can register by calling 1000 or submitting an application through the programmes official website, mkb.punjab.gov.pk.
