QUETTA: A Quetta family celebrated a rare moment of joy on Tuesday after a local man and his wife welcomed five babies at once.

According to doctors, the quintuplets were born at a private hospital in the city. All five newborns are in stable condition and are being closely monitored by medical staff.

As a precaution, the babies will remain in special care for the next 10 days for observation and treatment. This is not the couple’s first experience of parenthood.

The family already had three children. With the birth of the five newborns, the total number of children in the household has now risen to eight. Family members expressed immense happiness over the births.

Hospital administration said all necessary medical measures are being taken to ensure the health and safety of the new-borns. Doctors described the delivery as a rare and positive case, and said the mother is also doing well.
