The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment has warned citizens, particularly those seeking employment abroad, against a fraudulent website claiming to provide online visa application and verification services for Kyrgyzstan.
According to the bureau, www.evisa-e-gov-kg.asia is a fake website and should not be used for submitting visa applications, verifying visas, making payments or sharing personal information.
The bureau advised citizens to use only the official Kyrgyzstan visa portal or websites verified by the relevant embassy when applying for or verifying a visa.
It also urged applicants not to enter sensitive information, including passport details, CNIC numbers, bank account or credit card information, on unknown or suspicious websites.
Citizens have further been advised not to forward suspicious links to others and instead report them to the relevant authorities to help prevent fraud and protect potential visa applicants.
