MANSEHRA: A young brave man sacrificed his life after saving a drowning boy in the Ichrian area of Mansehra on Thursday, the Rescue 1122 spokesperson said.
According to the Rescue 1122 spokesperson, a young man who is identified as Junaid lost his life while saving a child who was drowning in deep water near Ichrian bridge in Shenkiari, Mansehra.
According to locals, Junaid showed bravery and pulled the drowning child out of the water safely, but he himself drowned in the deep water.
“As soon as the information was received, the Rescue 1122 Mansehra team immediately reached the spot while the local people pulled out the body of the young man from the water, which was shifted to a hospital in Baffa by the Rescue 1122 medical team in a rescue ambulance.
Rescue 1122 Mansehra appeals to the public to exercise extreme caution near rivers, streams and deep water.
