PESHAWAR: Peshawar Zalmi has already qualified for the final round of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the fifth consecutive time, and just before the all-important game, the team has got some amazing news.

The 11th series of PSL is coming close to the end, with the final set to be played on Sunday, May 3, in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi, who have already made it into the final through qualification in the qualifier match, will lock horns against Islamabad United or Hyderabad Kingsmen, whichever comes out victorious from the second eliminator game.

The entire team of Peshawar Zalmi seems to be in fantastic condition, but before the game, an important piece of positive news has come for the team. Bangladeshi fast bowler Nahid Rana, who has been a star performer for the team in the tournament, will join hands with his teammates for the final.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), which earlier released Rana to the team only up to April 13 in view of the PSL schedule, has issued him with an extended No Objection Certificate (NOC).

As per BCB, this decision was taken keeping in mind the significance of playing the finals of a league of franchises. Furthermore, it has been confirmed by both the management and medical department of the team that he is in fit condition and therefore his participation will not affect his fitness for the future.

Rana has been performing quite excellently in the recent past as he managed to pick up seven wickets in just four innings played for Zalmi. Apart from this, he also performed quite well during the recent series played against New Zealand.
