CALIFORNIA: It is important that if you use Google Chrome as your web browser, you update it right away because Google has just released a new update for the popular web browser to patch several security flaws in the program.
The web browser is used by 50-60% of the world’s internet population any security problem in Google Chrome can cause serious trouble. The new update has addressed 30 security flaws in the software, out of which, four are categorized as highly serious.
The problems were reported by Google employees who stated that the problems might affect many different aspects of users’ systems.
What Are the Security Flaws
The recently discovered problems were detected in various parts of the software. The four most important ones had the capability of causing serious damage to the user’s system. Due to the wide use of the software, this was a serious matter for the globe.
How to Update Google Chrome
Usually, Google Chrome is updated automatically. In case you are not sure about whether your browser is updated or not, here are some easy-to-follow instructions:
Click on the three dots menu that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
Navigate to Settings.
Then scroll down to the About Chrome section that is present in the bottom left part of the page.
Google Chrome will automatically search for any updates. If there are any updates, it will start downloading.
After the download process is completed, simply restart the browser.
