ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised parents to check a few important details before applying for their child’s Form B to avoid unnecessary delays.
As per NADRA directives, parents can apply for Form B through a NADRA office or the PakID mobile app. Before submitting an application, both parents should ensure that their CNICs are valid and have not expired.
NADRA records should also contain complete and accurate information about both parents, including their parents’ names, spouse’s name and CNIC numbers. The authority has further advised parents to make sure their marital status is correctly recorded in NADRA’s system and is not listed as unmarried.
In addition, the child’s birth must be properly registered with the relevant Union Council, with all required details accurately recorded. For children above three years of age, the child must be present for the collection of a photograph and fingerprints as part of the Form B application process.
NADRA has advised parents to check these requirements before applying to help avoid delays in processing their child’s Form B.
