ISLAMABAD: The prices of petrol and high-speed diesel have been increased after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised petroleum product rates.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised, following which the new rate has been set at Rs336.15 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased, with the new rate set at Rs393.04 per litre.
The revised petroleum prices will come into effect from midnight today, according to the notification. The adjustment has been made for a one-day period, the notification added.
The government periodically reviews petroleum prices based on changes in international oil markets and other relevant factors.
