RAWALPINDI: The second and final Test match between Pakistan and South Africa will kick off today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with the hosts aiming to seal the series victory.

Pakistan currently leads the two-match series 1-0, following a convincing 93-run win in the first Test held in Lahore. The Green Shirts are determined to carry that momentum into the Rawalpindi match to claim the series.

Head Coach Azhar Mahmood called the upcoming match a golden opportunity to win the series and stressed the importance of learning from past mistakes. He also hinted at a possible change in the playing XI for the decider. According to him, the team is focused on delivering a confident performance to secure valuable points in the World Test Championship standings.

On the other side, South African captain Aiden Markram has vowed to fight back and level the series, expressing confidence in his side’s ability to adapt to the conditions in Rawalpindi.
