ISLAMABAD: The prices of petrol and diesel in Pakistan are expected to decline as the government is set to determine new petroleum prices today for September 29.
According to reports, consumers may receive further relief in petroleum prices after the government reviews the rates.
Diesel is expected to become cheaper by Rs3.55 per litre, while the price of petrol may be reduced by Rs1.37 per litre.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is expected to determine the new petroleum prices tonight.
However, the final prices may differ from the expected rates, as the government has the authority to make adjustments based on changes in petroleum-related taxes.
