ISLAMABAD: Jolta Electric has announced the addition of its latest electric bike to the Pakistani automotive industry. The new motorcycle is named “JE-125L” with a price tag of Rs. 329,900.
It is designed in such a way that it blends the use of eco-friendly technology and practicality by designing the motorcycle in the same fashion and size as an ordinary 125cc petrol motorcycle. It was mentioned by company officials that the same frame and balance would allow users to easily move from the petrol motorcycle to the new electric one without changing their sitting posture.
The powerful motorcycle is driven by a 2,000-watt electric motor and runs on a 60V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery giving a range of 100 to 120 kilometers on a full charge. It can achieve a top speed of 80 km/h.
In contrast to other ordinary two-wheelers, the new motorcycle has come up with technological advancements for ease of use of the customers such as alloy wheels with both front and back disc brake system, NFC access and keyless start, cruise control and reverse gear.
