PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police Department has ordered the transfer and posting of two senior police officers in Abbottabad with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Muhammad Suleman, PSP (BS-18), has been transferred from his post as Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt, Abbottabad, and posted as SP Traffic Warden Abbottabad.
Meanwhile, Mr. Muhammad Ishtiaq, PSP (BS-18), has been transferred from SP Traffic Warden Abbottabad and posted as SP Cantt, Abbottabad.
The notification, issued under the powers vested in the Provincial Police Officer under sub-section (4) of Section 17 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Act, 2017, states that the transfers and postings have been made in the public interest.
The orders have taken effect immediately.
The notification was issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and signed by Provincial Police Officer Zulfiqar Hameed, PSP.
