PESHAWAR: Police have arrested a TikToker for allegedly uploading videos showing weapons on social media and displaying an illegal firearm in the Shahpur area.
According to police, the action was taken at Mian Abdul Wali Shah Town within the jurisdiction of Shahpur Police Station. The suspect was identified as Muhammad Shoaib, son of Abdul Latif.
Police said a Kalashnikov allegedly used in the weapon-display videos was recovered from the suspect’s possession.
A case has been registered against the arrested man, and further investigation is underway.

Police said action against individuals involved in sharing obscene content and displaying weapons on social media is continuing. Earlier, TikTok users allegedly involved in sharing obscene videos were also arrested in the Pishtakhara area.
According to police, two social media users involved in weapon displays have been arrested during the past week as part of the ongoing crackdown.
