PESHAWAR (Kashif Aziz): The Bacha Khan International Airport Security Force has taken a suspect into custody after receiving complaints from female security staff and passengers. The suspects allegedly filmed videos of the airport female staff and women passengers and used them to upload on the TikTok account “KohatQueen57.”
Airport sources report that a letter has been received regarding the accused, Abdul Muqim, son of Zameen Khan, who is a resident of Orakzai district. The accusations state that he recorded videos of female personnel dressed in ASF uniforms as well as female passengers at the airport.
The accused was allegedly uploading these videos on TikTok and other social media platforms under the username “KohatQueen57.” Upon suspicion, ASF personnel conducted a physical search of Abdul Muqim and recovered two mobile phones from him.
During the initial examination of one of the mobile phones, several videos recorded at the airport were found. The TikTok ID “KohatQueen57” was also discovered to be active. Subsequently, the accused was handed over to the NCCIA for legal action.
An inquiry has been initiated based on the report, focusing on the analysis of evidence related to the unauthorised recording of ASF female personnel and female visitors at the airport. It appears that many of these videos were shared or uploaded without the consent of the affected women.
A case has been registered against Abdul Muqim under sections 16, 20, and 24 of the PECA Act 2016, as well as section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
