ISLAMABAD: The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has given pharmaceutical companies a final opportunity to correct and update their product records on its E-App software.

DRAP said the deadline for online verification and updating of product data on the E-App has expired, and the online record verification process for pharmaceutical companies has now been closed.

Pharmaceutical companies seeking further corrections or updates to their records will have to approach DRAP’s Management Information System (MIS) Division.

The authority said applicants must provide evidence and supporting documents for the requested changes along with their applications. The MIS Division will process requests for record corrections until September 15.

DRAP said the requested changes would only be made after verification of the supporting documents.

The E-App software was introduced by DRAP as part of efforts to curb the circulation and sale of counterfeit and illegal medicines.
