ISLAMABAD: The upward momentum in the local bullion market persisted as the price of gold in Pakistan registered a significant increase of Rs 5,200 per tola.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the latest updated rates are as follows Per Tola (24-Karat): Rs 477,136 (an increase of Rs 5,200), 10 Grams (24-Karat): Rs 409,067 (an increase of Rs 4,458), 10 Grams (22-Karat): Rs 374,991

On the international front, spot gold hovered near $4,565 an ounce, supported by a softer dollar and global economic shifts. Local bullion prices in Pakistan continue to track international market trends and currency fluctuations on a daily basis.
