ISLAMABAD: Renowned actor, host and producer Azfar Ali has publicly announced his third marriage, revealing details about his relationship and first meeting with his wife that he had never previously shared on camera.
Speaking on a private television programme, Azfar said he married Rida in an arranged marriage in October 2025, describing the experience as a beautiful chapter of his life.
The actor said his sisters had repeatedly encouraged him to get married because he had little interest in pursuing marriage himself. Eventually, one of his sisters helped find a suitable match.
According to Azfar, Rida was living in Dubai at the time and had been working there as a head of human resources. Before the marriage, he asked her to move to Pakistan because he was unable to settle permanently in Dubai.
The two remained in contact for around six months before tying the knot in October 2025.
Azfar’s first marriage was to actress Salma Hassan. The relationship later ended in separation.
He subsequently married actress and host Naveen Naqvi, who gained recognition for her work in the drama Humsafar. That marriage also eventually ended.
Azfar said his second divorce took place 12 years ago and that the experiences he went through during those years changed the way he views relationships.
He said he now approaches marriage differently, placing greater importance on mutual understanding rather than imposing his own preferences on his partner.
Reflecting on the changes in his personality, Azfar said his career had previously been his primary focus.
He said that he makes sure that he keeps a balance between his professional and personal life now and concentrates more on his family and relations.
Azfar is famous as an actor, host and producer. He has been seen in TV shows such as Sub Set Hai, Shah Rukh Ki Saaliyan and Ab Bajay Gi Shehnai. He has also hosted the popular Azfar Mani Show.
