SWAT:Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam visited Saidu Sharif Hospital to inquire about the health of police officials and civilians injured in the Kabal suicide attack.
During the visit, the minister met with the injured and directed the hospital administration to provide all possible medical facilities to them.
Speaking to the media, Amir Muqam said that the entire nation must unite against terrorism. He termed terrorism a “common war for all of us” and vowed that the nefarious designs of terrorists will be foiled at all costs.
He said the government will not allow any miscreant elements to challenge the writ of the state. “This is not a time for criticism, but a time for unity,” the minister added.
Amir Muqam said he himself has been a victim of terrorism and described the Kabal blast as a cowardly act.
He also conveyed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s condolences to the families of the martyrs.
The federal minister was briefed by hospital officials about the treatment being provided to the injured.
