ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the results of the Higher Education Aptitude Test for MS programmes (HAT-MS) 2026.

The test was conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026, across five categories. HEC has made the results available online through the Education Testing Council (ETC) portal.

Students appearing in the test can get access to their results from the HEC ETC portal account. Students are advised to save or download a soft copy of their result cards for admission and scholarship applications.

Students can view or download their HAT-MS 2026 results by logging into their HEC ETC portal accounts. For this purpose, students can visit the HEC ETC portal and sign in with the login details registered during registration. Then, they can open the result section, click on the HAT-MS test and see or download their result cards.

SUPARCO Announces Paid Internships with Rs50,000 Monthly Stipend

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has invited applications for its paid internship programme, offering young Pakistani graduates an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology fields.

The organisation stated that the internship programme would span six months, with an extension in accordance with the project’s requirements. The candidates selected will be provided with a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 50,000.

The candidates are expected to be citizens of Pakistan, within the age bracket of 18 to 30, having a minimum 3.0 CGPA in any related field of study. The last date for submitting the applications is scheduled for August 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm.

Internship openings exist in different technical areas, including but not limited to Embedded Systems Design, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Development, and GNU/Linux-based development.

Students who have pursued their graduation degree in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Engineering can apply.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in a field-specific multiple-choice written test, followed by an interview. Both stages of the selection process will be held in Lahore, and no travel or daily allowance will be provided to applicants.

SUPARCO said exceptional interns may be considered for future employment, subject to organisational requirements and the availability of projects.

Interested candidates can apply online through the Smart Careers portal. Applicants are advised to provide an active mobile number and email address, as all updates regarding the written test and interview schedule will be communicated via SMS or email.
