QUETTA: Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar was martyred along with his gunman, when miscreants opened fire on their car over national highway in Mastung district on Thursday.
According to police sources, Additional Session Judge Tariq Lashari and two other individuals were seriously injured in the attack. The bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack.
“The attack on Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar is an attack on the state. We will bring the terrorists to justice at all costs. The blood of the guardians of law will not go in vain,” CM further said.
“There will be no concession for terrorists and their facilitators. Those who challenge the writ of the state will be crushed. There will be no safe haven for terrorists in Balochistan.
Operations against enemies of peace will be further intensified. Every network of terrorism will be uprooted. The blood of martyrs will certainly be accounted for and the war against terrorism will continue with full force.”
