PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has issued a formal notification announcing promotions, transfers and postings of senior faculty members in the Higher Education Department following their elevation from Grade 19 to Grade 20.

According to the notification issued by the Human Resource Management Department (Services Wing), several associate professors and principals have been promoted on a regular basis and assigned new responsibilities across government commerce and management sciences colleges in the province.

Among the appointments, a number of promoted faculty members have been retained at their existing institutions, while others have been transferred to colleges in different districts to fill vacant posts of professors and principals.

The notification stated that the administrative changes were made as part of the department’s efforts to strengthen academic leadership and improve institutional management within higher education institutions.

In addition to the promotions, several senior professors and principals were reassigned under a broader adjustment and transfer plan. The reshuffle includes transfers between colleges in Malakand, Mardan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Haripur, Abbottabad and other districts.
