PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has carried out another reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy, issuing transfer and posting orders for two senior officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Grade 19.
According to separate notifications issued by the Human Resource Management Department, Muhammad Usman, who was serving as Secretary Security in the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, has been transferred with immediate effect and directed to report to the Human Resource Management Department.
In a separate notification, Shah Rukh Ali, who had been serving as Additional Secretary in the Energy and Power Department, has been transferred and appointed as Special Secretary-II in the Home and Tribal Affairs Department with immediate effect.
The notification stated that Shah Rukh Ali’s appointment has been made under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.
The latest transfers are part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s ongoing administrative reshuffle aimed at reorganizing key positions within the provincial bureaucracy.
KP Govt Announces Major Reshuffle of Senior Officers
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a major reshuffle in the Higher Education Department, issuing notifications for the promotion, adjustment, and fresh postings of several senior female college officers.
The Human Resource Management Department of the provincial government issued the notification following the approval of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The appointments were made in light of recommendations from the Higher Education Department and decisions taken by the relevant promotion board.
According to the notification, several female professors and principals who were promoted from Grade 20 to Grade 21 have been appointed as principals and professors at various Government Girls Degree Colleges (GGDCs) and Government Girls Postgraduate Colleges (GGPGCs) across the province.
Among the newly appointed senior officers, Saima Khaliq has been posted as Principal of GGDC No. 1 Charsadda, Nighat Afza as Principal of GGPGC Mardan, Dr Bakht Shahida Gilani as Principal of GGPGC Dargai Malakand, and Nadia Ashraf as Principal of GGPGC Kohat.
The notification further stated that Salma Ghani has been appointed Principal of GGDC Timergara in Lower Dir, Dr Nighat Shaheen as Principal of GGPGC Haripur, Bushra Fatima as Principal of GGPGC Mandian Abbottabad, and Shabnam Tabinda as Principal of GGDC No. 1 Mansehra.
Several other senior officers have also received new assignments. Ghazala Kiran Awan has been appointed Principal of GGPGC No. 1 Abbottabad, Seema Gul as Principal of GGDC No. 1 Hayatabad Peshawar, Rani Gul as Principal of GGDC Nowshera, Shaheen Begum as Principal of GFC (Women) Peshawar, and Rehana Bibi as Principal of GGPGC Saidu Sharif Swat.
In the second phase of the notification, adjustment orders for Grade 19 and Grade 20 female professors were issued. Under these orders, Shahana Samin was appointed as Professor at GGDC Tajoo Bibi Charsadda, Farhat Jabeen as Principal of GGDC Sheikh Maltoon Mardan, Shazia Bangash as Professor at GGDC KDA Kohat, and Farah Saeed as Professor at GGDC Chatti Dheri No. 2 Mansehra.
The department also adjusted several other officers, including Rehmania Begum as Professor at GGDC No. 1 Hayatabad Peshawar, Syeda Mubeena Qadri as Associate Professor at GGDC Timergara Lower Dir, Huma Iqbal as Professor at GGPGC Mandian Abbottabad, and Nadia Nisar at GGDC Umarzai Charsadda against vacant posts.
The latest administrative changes are part of the provincial government’s efforts to strengthen management and academic leadership in government girls’ colleges across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
