PESHAWAR: A transgender woman was killed and another was injured after they were allegedly shot near Chamkani Police Station in Peshawar, according to initial reports from the transgender community.
The victims identified as Mishi and Tara, had reportedly gone to recover a mobile phone and money from a close acquaintance. Community members said an argument broke out after the individual refused to return their belongings, following which gunfire was allegedly opened.
