With the arrival of tourists across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial tourism authority has rolled out a new campaign to guide visitors, promote safe travel, and help prevent accidents.

Under the campaign, teams of tourism officials are visiting popular tourist destinations, including Chakdara, Swat, Kalam, Bab-e-Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Chitral, and Kalash. They are distributing information brochures and guiding visitors on safe travel and tourist facilities.

The campaign has been launched on the instructions of Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Tourism Malik Adeel Iqbal and KPCTA Director General Shahid Khan Mohmand.
Mohmand said officials are advising tourists to avoid going near rivers and to follow safety guidelines, especially in the Hazara and Malakand divisions. He urged visitors to contact the tourism helpline 1422 or the provincial emergency helpline 911 before travelling to tourist destinations if they need information or assistance.

The authority is also providing pamphlets with important travel tips, emergency contact numbers, and safety instructions for both local and foreign tourists.

The provincial government has welcomed tourists visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said the campaign aims to promote safe, responsible, and enjoyable travel across the province.
