QUETTA: A survivor of the deadly bus crash in Balochistan’s Zhob district has alleged that the driver deliberately drove the passenger coach into a ravine following a dispute with passengers.
According to the video statement of the survivor who is badly injured in the accident, the driver was carrying containers of Iranian diesel to Peshawar. According to the survivor, the containers were seized at a check post in the Sherani area causing some sort of disagreement between the driver and his passengers.
The survivor further alleged that as a consequence of the quarrel, the driver deliberately crashed his bus in a nearby ravine.
No government authority has either confirmed or refuted the allegations made by the sole survivor of the deadly bus accident. Government authorities had earlier stated that the bus had crashed in the ravine located in the vicinity of Sherani town, which could possibly be due to failure of its brakes.
An inquiry has been ordered by the Chief Minister of Balochistan to find out the reason behind the accident. All aspects will be taken into consideration by the authorities, including the allegations made by the sole survivor of the accident.
