Kaghan Valley witnessed an overwhelming tourist influx during Eid holidays, with over 128,862 visitors entering the scenic valley, officials confirmed.

‎According to Kaghan Development Authority, the massive turnout started from Chand Raat and peaked on Eid day 1 and 2. Hotels, guest houses, and camping sites in Shogran, Naran, Batakundi, and Lake Saif-ul-Malook operated at 100% occupancy. Traffic jams were reported on the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road as convoys of tourists from Punjab, Islamabad, and Karachi headed north.

‎Total tourists 128,862+ entered Kaghan Valley during Eid days. Lake Saif-ul-Malook, Lulusar Lake, Babusar Pass, and Shogran remained the most crowded spot. KP Tourism Dept and local police deployed additional staff for traffic management, rescue, and cleanliness

‎Authorities said this year’s Eid rush is among the highest recorded in the last 5 years. The KP government had earlier announced special facilitation centers and extra Rescue 1122 units along the N-15 highway for tourist safety.

‎Officials urged visitors to follow safety guidelines, avoid overloading vehicles on hilly tracks, and dispose of waste responsibly to keep the valley clean.
