In the second eliminator of Pakistan Super League Season 11, the Hyderabad Kingsmen qualified for the final after defeating Islamabad United by 2 runs in a thrilling match.

The match, played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, saw Islamabad United win the toss and choose to field first. In response, the Hyderabad Kingsmen scored 186 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Usman Khan remained unbeaten, scoring 61 runs, while Marnus Labuschagne contributed 39 runs, Saim Ayub added 38, and Kushal Perera scored 37 runs.

For Islamabad, Imad Wasim was the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets, while Chris Green, Richard Gleeson, and Faheem Ashraf each claimed one wicket.

In pursuit of the target, Islamabad United managed to score 184 runs for 7 wickets in their allotted overs, falling just 2 runs short. Mark Chapman and Devon Conway were the top scorers for Islamabad, making 43 and 30 runs, respectively, while Shadab Khan added 22 runs and Chris Green chipped in with 21 runs.

In the nail-biting final over, Haneen Shah bowled brilliantly, successfully defending 6 runs and leading his team to the final. For Hyderabad, Haneen Shah and Muhammad Ali each took 2 wickets, while Hassan Khan, Saim Ayub, and Akif Javed claimed one wicket each.

With this victory, the Hyderabad Kingsmen will now face Peshawar Zalmi in the final, scheduled to be held in Lahore on Sunday.
