President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that he believes the United States will “end up with a great deal” with Iran to resolve the ongoing conflict that has lasted for weeks.
In an interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Trump expressed his thoughts on the expected outcome of a second round of peace negotiations with Iran, saying, “I think they have no choice.”
He added, “We’ve taken out their Navy, we’ve taken out their Air Force, and we’ve removed their leaders.” While acknowledging the complexity of the situation due to the removal of these leaders, Trump noted, “These leaders are much more rational. It is regime change, no matter what you want to call it, which is not something I said I was going to do, but I’ve done it indirectly.”
