The price of gold and silver in Pakistan and the global market has witnessed a drop for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,000, bringing the new rate to Rs500,162, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs857, settling at Rs428,808. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs785 to be sold for Rs393,088.

The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by just $10, reaching $4,778 per ounce.

Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs59 to be sold for Rs8,358. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also decreased to be sold for Rs7,165.
