ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a high-level meeting on Sunday with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The meeting served as a vital platform for both nations to synchronise their positions on the rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape, with both leaders engaging in comprehensive discussions regarding the latest regional and international developments.
During the exchange, the two ministers emphasised that the current global climate requires a heightened reliance on dialogue and diplomacy. They called for unified, collective efforts to safeguard peace and security, particularly within the Middle East and South Asia. Both Dar and Prince Faisal underscored that stability is the prerequisite for regional prosperity and expressed a shared vision for a more integrated and peaceful neighbourhood.
The session concluded with a mutual reaffirmation of the deep-rooted strategic partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two sides formally agreed to intensify their engagement through both bilateral channels and multilateral forums, such as the OIC and the United Nations. By pledging to work closer together, Islamabad and Riyadh aim not only to strengthen their own cooperation but also to act as a stabilising force for the broader international community.
