ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has become a major player in the ongoing efforts to resolve the tensions that are rocking the Iran conflict, according to a report by a Qatari media house known as Al Jazeera.
In essence, Pakistan is taking a major part in the diplomatic efforts being made to resolve the conflict between Iran and the US, as well as Israel. Efforts are being made to ensure that the conflict comes to an end.
According to the report by Al Jazeera, Pakistan has become the hub of regional and international diplomacy, with major talks being held to ensure that there is no war. Recent happenings indicate that the foreign ministers from Egypt and Turkey are already in Pakistan to take part in the talks.
Sources also indicate that the foreign minister from Saudi Arabia is also expected to arrive at any moment. It is believed that the talks being held are major efforts towards achieving peace in the region.
According to the report by Al Jazeera, Iran has also agreed to send a diplomat who would take part in the talks. It is believed that this would be a major step towards resolving the conflict.

Egypt, Turkiye’s FMs arrive in Islamabad for key four-nation talks
Earlier, the foreign ministers of Egypt and Turkey have arrived in Islamabad to participate in a high-level four-nation conference aimed at resolving the ongoing tensions in the Middle East region. The conference will also focus on the possibility of a ceasefire with Iran. The conference will be chaired by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on March 29 and 30.
Dr. Sameh Shoukry, the Foreign Minister of Egypt, was warmly received at Islamabad airport. He arrived to participate in the conference of foreign ministers of the four nations at the invitation of Ishaq Dar. This was followed by the arrival of Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Islamabad. He was received by Additional Foreign Secretary of Afghanistan and Western Asia Syed Ali Asad Gilani.
The conference will be attended by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan.
The conference will mainly deal with the deteriorating security situation in the region, the situation in the Middle East region, and other issues of mutual interest. The key issues that will be discussed in the conference will include the measures to ensure security in the region, establishing peace in the region, and resolving the tensions with Iran.
