PESHAWAR: In view of the security situation, preparations have begun to take strict action against non-custom paid (NCP) vehicles that are unregistered with the Excise Department.
Both federal and provincial governments will jointly execute the operation, which is officially expected to kick off next month. According to sources, a large number not just dozens of unregistered non-custom paid vehicles have been identified across the province.
Through the collaboration of federal and provincial bodies, district administrations, and other relevant departments, a comprehensive record of these vehicles has already been compiled. Sources state that the decision to target these unregistered vehicles has been driven by security concerns. Under this initiative, joint operations will be carried out across various districts.
In this regard, relevant institutions have been directed to complete necessary preparations and finalize the identification process of all unregistered vehicles.
