PESHAWAR: Security sources have said that Pakistan’s retaliatory actions are continuing in response to what they described as unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban.
According to the sources, the Pakistan Army targeted the Kharchar Fort, focusing on military installations. They claimed that several Afghan Taliban were killed during the operation.
Security officials further stated that the commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces to national security and the defence of the homeland remains unwavering. They added that operations will continue as required in response to any hostile action.
Security sources said the Pakistan Air Force carried out retaliatory strikes in response to what they described as unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban.
According to security sources, the operation targeted military installations in Laghman Province. They claimed that an army depot, an ABF battalion headquarters, and the Nangarhar brigade were destroyed in the retaliatory action.
The sources added that Pakistan’s armed forces are continuing to respond vigorously to the aggression, reiterating that national security and territorial integrity remain the top priorities.

As the operation against militants in Afghanistan is ongoing, the Pakistan Air Force destroyed a petrol depot in Kandahar.
Pakistan Air Force has carried out a major and decisive airstrike in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, targeting key enemy military installations.
According to security sources, the ABF battalion headquarters was successfully targeted and destroyed in this effective attack, while the Nangarhar brigade headquarters was also destroyed in this operation.
Security sources say that Pakistan’s armed forces are unwaveringly committed to national security and homeland defence and will continue to retaliate vigorously against any cowardly action by the Afghan Taliban.
According to security sources, a total of 297 Afghan Taliban operatives were killed and more than 450 injured during the ongoing operations.
The sources claimed that 89 checkpoints were destroyed while 18 were captured by Pakistani forces. In addition, 135 tanks and armoured vehicles were reportedly destroyed.
They further stated that 29 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted in airstrikes.
