TAXILA: Police have named three suspects in the murder case of TikToker Shamsu, also known as Gilamana Ayesha, who was shot dead in Taxila two days ago.

According to police, the three suspects nominated in the case are from Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Gilamana Ayesha was also originally from Dir and had moved to Taxila around seven to eight months ago.

Police said raids were being conducted at different locations to arrest the suspects, who remain at large.

According to Gilamana’s father, she received a phone call from a man identified as Kashif before leaving home with her brother and sister. He said the family was later informed that Ayesha had been shot.

The victim’s father told police that Ayesha was allegedly killed after a dispute involving the sale of a plot. He named Kashif, Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen as suspects in the case.

According to the FIR, Ayesha’s brother told investigators that an unidentified man sitting on the back of a motorcycle opened fire at them. A bullet struck Gilamana Ayesha in the neck, causing the vehicle to lose control and collide with a dumper.

Ayesha’s brother and sister were also injured in the incident. Her father said his son could identify the suspects if they were brought before him.

The case has been registered, while police are continuing efforts to locate and arrest the nominated suspects. The allegations have not yet been proven in court.
