Sensitive documents, supplier details, and alleged images related to American technology company Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have been revealed to have leaked on the dark web, prompting questions about the security of the company’s supply chain.

According to the international news agency Reuters, this information is part of the data stolen from Indian supplier Tata Electronics by ransomware group World Leaks.

The leaked files include details of companies that manufacture hundreds of parts for the iPhone 18 Pro, including the main circuit board, battery, cameras, and chips, which Apple considers its most confidential information.

According to the report, some of the documents also bear Apple’s “Confidential” seal and the internal codename for the iPhone 18 Pro series, while images of alleged iPhone 18 Pro models used during drop tests conducted at Tata’s plant in early 2026 are also included in the leaked material.

According to experts, the leak could not only affect the trust between Apple and Tata Electronics but also raise concerns that rivals, counterfeiters, and other suppliers could gain access to important information related to Apple’s supply chain.

According to Reuters, Apple has launched an investigation into the incident and is working with Tata Electronics to further tighten security measures. Tata has restricted internal access to sensitive systems during the investigation and has also hired a global consultancy for a forensic audit.

The development comes at a time when Apple has raised prices of some products due to the rising cost of memory and storage chips, while analysts say that there is a possibility of further increases in iPhone prices in the coming months.
