Bergenstock, Switzerland: Formal talks between the US and Iran have begun in Bergenstock, Switzerland, in which delegations from Pakistan and Qatar are also participating.
According to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, special working groups consisting of experts and technical experts have been formed to finalize the terms of the final agreement covering all aspects of the Memorandum of Understanding reached between the US and Iran during the negotiations.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry says that follow-up groups have also been established to monitor the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding, review progress and complete the final agreement, which will help in effectively advancing the negotiation process.
According to Qatari officials, all parties are determined to advance the negotiation process in good faith so that a comprehensive, sustainable and lasting agreement can be reached.
